Larry King Divorces Shawn Southwick, But Who Is To Blame?

It is the eighth divorce filed and seventh marriage over for legendary anchor Larry King. Yesterday news broke that long-time CNN anchor Larry King, 76, was filing for divorce from his wife Shawn Southwick, 50. The couple was married for 12 years and have two children.

Entertainment news site TMZ.com reports that both King and Southwick cite "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split.

But, today Internet is abuzz with speculations about the "real" reason behind the divorce.

TMZ says Shawn Southwick suspected King of being in an affair with her sister Shannon Engemann. It is alleged that Kind purchased expensive gifts for Engemann, including a diamond necklace. Southwick has allegedly become suspicious after checking King's credit card statement and realizing that she has never received the necklace purchased from her husband. It is reported that Southwick believes the affair between Engemann and King has been ongoing for five years. Engemann is denying affair rumours, saying King has been "lie a father to [her]."

Meanwhile, Larry King is keeping his cool. He refrained from discussing his personal affairs on Larry King Live last night. King's lawyers say they hope to keep the divorce amicable.
