Guinness is one of Britain's best loved brands, yet sales of the famous black stout have been falling year after year both in the UK and Ireland. But with nearly 250 years of history behind it, Guinness is not about to go quietly.
It has launched a fight back with a new lighter, sweeter version, Guinness Red, and a much hyped multi-million pound advertising campaign.
Will it be enough to reverse the decline?

Alan, I hope so... otherwise, I'm going to have to start stocking up -> Good stuff.

What will I have for breakfast then? Soriously, I love Guinness, I even named my cat Guinness.

Another potential victim of global warming. As temperatures rise are people turning to lager? Or is it low carb diets? It's an uphill battle, a difficult climb when full of Guinness.

I will certainly do my part to support a reversal of this trend.

I, too, will step up for my favorite stout. How many pints, exactly, will it take to save Guinness? Should I begin immediately?
