What is it like for readers living in the UK - is a lack of language skills by people you deal with a daily issue? Story by matte
''I have known Hormoz for about 4 years now. He originally came over to the UK from Iran over 30 years ago.
I was asking around Tottenham Court Road, (London W1, Computer and Technology Centre) for someone who knew about the problems of working over here without knowing English, and he very kindly volunteered to be filmed, no payment was made.
Hormoz has a good command of English and is able to communicate at all levels. But he has many friends from Iranian and Iraqi backgrounds who are unable to communicate successfully.
Hormoz has a degree in Programming. He is a Natural Peace maker and Leader. He works as a company Director and has a keen interest in music and communication."
