The National Union of Journalists in the UK has intervened after multiple complaints against Twice Magazine, a free independent lifestyle and entertainment publication headed by EiC Graham Gartside-Bernier and publisher Gary Greenwood.

The main concern is a lack of payment for several freelance writers, who’ve had work published in Twice. There are many other complaints which How-Do has seen, but for legal reasons we are unable to print in full.

A spokesperson for the NUJ described the situation as “scandalous” as even if they had been paid, the journalists were being offered below minimum wage.
