Stan Winston was a great man who really made movies magical. I will never forget the opportunity I had to meet him. He was always enthusiastic about his work and loved to meet his fans.

Stan Winston was the embodiment of what motion pictures are all about. He made the impossible possible.

Sunday night, after the convention was over and the only people inside the hall were comic book company and convention employees breaking down booths. The booth I was working was directly across the aisle from the big Marvel booth, and I'd been eying the Iron Man armor from the moment they unveiled it, but I was so busy I didn't have time to sneak a peek until the convention was over.

We got pretty up close and personal with the armor and the level of detail was simply astonishing. You could see every screw, every rivet, every panel. Stan Winston was an absolutely fantastic designer and he will be greatly missed.
