Lil Boosie Goes To Another Jail After Rapper is Indicted on First-Degree Murder Charges
Lil Boosie, a Louisiana based rapper whose real name is Torrence Hatch is already in jail in the Hunt Correctional Institute in St. Gabriel, serving time for drug and gun possession.

Now he has been transferred to East Baton Rouge Parish Prison as he has been indicted on first-degree murder charges in the October 21 shooting death of Terry Boyd. If he is convicted of first-degree murder, he could face the death penalty.
He was also indicted on drug charges, three counts of conspiracy to commit possession with intent to distribute narcotics and two counts of conspiracy to introduce contraband in to a prison system according to WAFB.com.
Michael Louding, 17, and Adrian Pittman, 36, were also indicted for first-degree murder in Boyd's death. According to detectives, the 35-year-old was shot to death while inside his home on Vermillion Drive in Baton Rouge. They said the shots were fired from the outside through a window.
There have been many shooting deaths in the Baton Rouge area over the past two years and many others were indicted for those killings as well.
Lil Boosie's girlfriend Walnita Decuir also faces the same drug charges as her boyfriend and she surrendered on Friday June 18 to the police.
Lil Boosie went to jail in September 2009 and was soon released with instructions to stay under house arrest and wear an ankle bracelet. After violating the terms of his release multiple times, a judge ordered him back to jail on November 9 2009 and doubled his original sentence to four years.
Now he awaits trial for the murder of Terry Boyd.
