Lil Boosie Torrence Hatch Pleads Not Guilty to 1st-Degree Murder
Lil Boosie Left Jail Briefly on Monday to Plead Not Guilty to First-Degree Murder
Torrence Hatch appeared in court in Baton Rouge Louisiana on Monday and he pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and a number of other charges.
Hatch's attorney, Marcus Allen, spoke after the hearing and said Hatch is "absolutely not guilty."
Lil Boosie is accused of hiring a man to kill Terry Boyd while he was at home on October 21 2009. Michael Louding and Adrian Pittman are also facing charges in the same case, but if Lil Boosie is convicted he could face the death penalty.
He was already in jail when he was transferred to East Baton Rouge Parish Prison to face charges of murder. He was also indicted on drug charges, three counts of conspiracy to commit possession with intent to distribute narcotics and two counts of conspiracy to introduce contraband to a prison system.
