As we all know, Lil Wayne's new album Tha Carter IV drops Monday, August 29, 2011. Weezy gave fans a taste of his much-anticipated album at the 2011 MTV Music Video Awards.

Lil Wayne closed out the MTV VMA Awards by performing two songs from Tha Carter IV: "How To Love" and "John."

Lil Wayne pulled out all the stops during his performance at the MTV Music Awards: doing a little auto-tuned crooning and rocking out complete with skin-tight, striped pants a la Zebra Man from Heavy Metal Parking Lot.

In case you were wondering if Lil Wayne had some audio difficulties during his VMA performance, he didn't. His sound kept cutting out because he kept getting bleeped by censors.
