Lil Wayne has recorded a guest spot on Weezer's upcoming album, Raditude. Rivers Cuomo confirmed that Lil Wayne's appearance gave the track (he wouldn't say which one) an "edge", contributing to the different feel that Weezer was going for. Weezy isn't the only non-alt musician to make an appearance: Rivers Cuomo also wrote a song with Jermaine Dupri called "Can't Stop Partying', which will also appear on Raditude.

"You can hear in his voice, it sounds so dark, like he was gonna get shot or something when he walks out of the studio. So I was real happy that everyone involved got what we were going for."

The name Raditude came from The Office's Riann Wilson. (Beware: the Spin's article comes with an insanely annoying rolling ad)
"He has a super-rock persona," Cuomo said. "When it came time to find a title for the Weezer album, I asked him what he thought the ultimate album title would be and he said 'Raditude.'"
