Lil' Wayne's Jail Schedule
A Day in the Life of Lil' Wayne at Rikers Island
Lil' Wayne updated his blog to let fans know what a day in the life of Weezy looks like at Rikers Island. After the schedule (which involves writing and listening to ESPN), Lil' Wayne singles out a large number of his fans for special thanks.
Searching for any information on Rikers Island will return Weezy-centric results, though Rikers Island has an interesting history (at one point, Rikers had a prison barge), and first-hand accounts from non-famous inmates are out there, too.
I wake up around 11AM. Have some coffee. Call my kids, and my wonderful mother. I then shower up. Read fan mail. Have lunch. Back on the phone. Read a book or write some thoughts down. Have dinner. Phone. Pushups. Then I listen to ESPN on the radio. Read the bible, then sleep. That’s my day.
Your mileage may vary should you end up as prisoner at Rikers Island, which has a capacity to hold 17,000 prisoners. Rikers Island has a history of prisoner abuse. Other famous Rikers inmates include Sid Vicious, Tupac Shakur, and Foxy Brown.
