Starting to build the hype around “Abduction,” a new action still from the movie has been released featuring stars Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins.
.
In the photo, the “Twilight” stud and his cutie costar are seen making a mad dash out of a doorway, setting the tone for the whole flick.
Of the film, Taylor told press, "I love action, but most important is the story, and the story behind this action/thriller is amazing. We got [director] John Singleton behind us. ... I'm so thankful we're getting a cast like that."
In related news, Lautner’s new MTV special “MTV First: Taylor Lautner” will premiere on Wednesday April 13th at 7:56PM.
Fresh off of the big announcement that she's set to play Snow White, Lily Collins is featured in the May 2011 issue of Nylon.
Tossing on a few outfits from top designers such as Ann Taylor, the darling young actress happily posed for a photo spread accompanying the magazine's interview.
As for her chat, Miss Collins spoke about her hopes of getting into comedic films, as she said, "I've become obsessed with improv. I grew up watching a lot of old Steve Martin comedies; John Cleese - my dad loves all that."
The 22-year-old also commented on her hopes of keeping level-headed as she gains more stardom, telling, "I feel it's easy in a place like LA, or in this business, to start to take things for granted and feel like it becomes too normal - and it's not normal!"
She added, "I hope it never becomes normal."
Currently making headlines after being named the new Snow White, Lily Collins was focused on another one of her many projects while visiting 2011 WonderCon in San Francisco, California on Saturday (April 2).
The rising starlet joined up with director Scott Stewart and co-stars Cam Gigandet , Min-Woo Hyung and Paul Bettany as the group partook in a press event for their upcoming movie "Priest".
Hitting theaters on May 13th, the horror/sci-fi flick tells the story of "a priest who disobeys church law to track down the vampires who kidnapped his niece."
Collins is also set to star in another film of Stewart's,"Mortal Instruments", which is based on the book "City of Bones" by Cassandra Clare. The actress' publicist confirmed to Collider that she will play the character of 15-year-old Clary Fray.
And though Lily tried to keep conversation focused on her soon-to-be-released picture, she couldn't steer clear of questions about landing the coveted fairy tale role.
To this, the 22-year-old told People magazine, "Snow White was my favorite fairy tale [growing up], and when I first read about the project, I was like, 'I have to get in on this. It's such an iconic character."
The daughter of singer Phil Collins will star opposite Julia Roberts and Armie Hammer (Snow White's prince) in the flick, which is slated for release on June 29, 2012.
While at WonderCon the young actress also found herself asked about her rumored relationship with "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner - to which she quickly made it clear that she wouldn't be commenting on the matter.
She explained, "I'm going to keep the private life private. I'm in this for the craft; I'm in it for the passion."
Lily Collins co-stars with Lautner in the 2011 flick "Abduction".
