It's a big weekend at the box office as two of the most highly-anticipated films of the year hit theaters today (March 18).

With studly Bradley Cooper, the sexy Abbie Cornish, and the talented Robert De Niro in its lead roles, "Limitless" is based on Alan Glynn's book of the same name. According to iTunes, the  flick revolves around an unpublished writer named Eddie Morra (Cooper) whose life is transformed by a top-secret smart drug that allows him to use 100% of his brain, thus becoming a perfect version of himself. While these enhanced abilities bring Morra success he'd never dreamed of, they also attract shadowy forces, ones that will threaten his new life.

The other must-see of this weekend is "The Lincoln Lawyer" starring Matthew McConaughey, Marisa Tomei and Ryan Phillippe. Based on the best-selling book by Michael Connelly, the film is centered on McConaughey's character of Mickey Haller, a defense attorney who conducts business from the back of his Lincoln town car. When he takes on what appears to be an open-and-shut rape and assault case against a rich playboy (Ryan Phillippe), Haller finds himself caught up in something that he never bargained for. William H. Macy also stars.

According to Rolling Stone Magazine's Peter Travers, "Limitless" and "The Lincoln Lawyer" are "both perfect escapist date night movies."
