Lindsay Lohan Gets Earful from Judge During Progress Hearing
Making another appearance in the Los Angeles County Court system, Lindsay Lohan attended a hearing today (July 21) to see how she was doing with her probation conditions.
Dressed in a floor-length black frock with platform heels, the "Mean Girls" starlet joined lawyer Shawn Holly before appearing in front of Judge Stephanie Sautner.
As it would turn out, the Judge was none too pleased with Lindsay's lack of ambition regarding her counseling commitment and community service completion.
She demanded that LiLo find a one-on-one counselor within 21 days to help her work through her issues. She also stated that there would be no excuses for non-compliance. Failure to do so would result in revocation of probation and a hearing would then be scheduled.
Judge Sautner declared that by August 11th Lohan and her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley must make known to the court via fax or written document the psychologist Lohan was seeing.
Additionally, Sautner required that Lindsay be back in court on October 19th at 10:00am to answer for her progress in the Shoplifter's Alternative class, community service hours, and counseling progress.
The judge noted that she had one year to complete her probation conditions. "I'm not going to give her five extra minutes. I don't want to hear, 'Oh, I couldn't do it because I was on the set of the John Gotti movie.'"
Unfortunately for LiLo, her legal troubles don't seem to be going away anytime soon. We all remember when she got into an altercation with an employee at the Betty Ford Clinic last year, and now it seems she could be coughing up some coin for her misbehavior.
According to a report from TMZ, Dawn Holland (now Dawn Bradley), the woman Lindsay allegedly attacked, is seeking a $1 million settlement from the actress.
Holland's new report claims that the 25-year-old grabbed Dawn's right wrist and began "twisting and pulling it for 8-10 seconds." However there was no mention of wrist-grabbing in the original incident report.
Furthermore, Dawn is claiming that she has endured "great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering" following the incident. Lohan's side is yet to comment.
