Actress and tabloid queen Lindsay Lohan was questioned by British police investigating a jewel theft. Detectives from Britain's famed Scotland Yard questioned Lohan, who was the last person to wear the stolen Christian Dior jewels, which were estimated to be worth US $400,000. 

The jewels went missing after an Elle Magazine photo shoot featuring Lohan. The necklace and diamond earrings were loaned to Elle by fashion Dior for the June 6th photo shoot. The theft wasn't reported until June 8th.

A spokesman for Elle said that they have no reason to believe Lohan had anything to do with the theft. Police also reported that Lohan was very cooperative.
