On the eight anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks Lisa Beamer, one of the most well-known widows of that tragic day, is making headlines under rumors that she has remarried. Todd Beamer became a part of 9/11 history as one of the heroes of Flight 93. The Flight 93 passengers fought back against the hijackers to stop their plane from reaching its intended target, widely thought to be the Capitol or the White House.

Todd Beamer is the passenger heard via cell phone uttering the now famous phrase "Let's Roll!" before he and three other men: Jeffery Glick, 31; Thomas Burnett Jr., 38; Mark Bingham, 31; moved to take the plane from terrorist control. The phrase "Let's Roll!" became a symbol of the bravery shown that day by the passengers of Flight 93.

Lisa Beamer worked hard to come to terms with her loss and reclaim her life from the terror of that day. She wrote a book about Todd Beamer called Let's Roll!: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Courage and used the money to establish the Todd M. Beamer Foundation, now known as Heroic Choices, an organization that helps children who have been through trauma.

Some of Lisa Beamer's behavior since 9/11 has raised controversy. In December 2001 she trademark the phrase "Let's Roll!" causing many to assert that she was attempting to profit from Todd Beamer's heroic deeds. These claims were bolstered by the fact that she licensed "Let's Roll!" for use by Wal-Mart and the Florida State football team, among others. Further allegations that the Heroic Choices charity has been riddled with accounting errors also hurt her reputation.

It has been 8 years since Lisa Beamer lost the man she has repeatedly called the love of her life, and in keeping with her message of survivor courage she may very well have remarried. If Lisa Beamer has remarried, and at this point that is only a rumor, it should not be seen as a statement against her love for her heroic husband but a tribute to the survival spirit of the nation. Regardless of her past deeds and/or misdeeds, if she remarried Lisa Beamer is going on with her life, and that is not a bad thing.

It has been a long time since 2001, so for Beamer to get married is likely. Beamer published a book called "Let's Roll: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Courage," which showcased her marriage to Todd Beamer to after and what it was like. A percentage of profits went toward helping to ease the suffering of children who's family was involved in the crashes of 9/11.

Todd Beamer is national hero for his role in stopping the hijackers from crashing into another building and killing many more people. For now, Beamer being remarried is still a rumor.

Todd Beamer's memorial service was held on 09/16/01 at the Princeton Alliance Church in Plainsboro, New Jersey. Todd Beamer's wife, Lisa Beamer, a grieving mother of two and four months pregnant with her third child, registers TODDBEAMER.ORG four days later on 09/20/01, incorporates The Todd M. Beamer Memorial Foundation eight days later on 9/24/01 and then applies for the trademark "Let's Roll" ten days later on 9/26/01. Instead of acting like a wife and mother who should be experiencing untold grief, shock, and loss, her behavior turns a catastrophic personal tragedy into a cold and calculating cheap publicity stunt. But then the U S Government's propaganda machine needed heroes as well as villains paraded through the media for their 9/11 conspiracy theory.Considering that Todd and Lisa Beamer purchased their home in Cranbury, NJ, for $699,900 on 07/20/2000, it was interesting to note that they paid off their mortgage two weeks before 9/11 on 08/27/2001.mcrecords.co.middlesex.nj.us/records/index.jspMaybe Lisa Beamer should write her next book, "How to turn a personal tragedy into a financial windfall" from her new 2 million dollar Harvey Cedars, NJ beach house.www.oceancountyclerk.com/search2.htm

sounds like a very jealous statement.  blessed people continue to bless others, that is what her intention undoubtedly was. she is a believer and Christ gave her strength and direction.  it is no doubt at all, she did experience grief, if you read the book, much was described therein.  Christians are survivors, because Jesus set us free.  mistakes and all.

You people need to get a life and let this woman go on with hers.  Have you nothing better to do than to trash talk other people?  Get a job, go take a walk, hug a loved one...SOMETHING...do something productive with your lives!  Shame on you!

I understand why it would seem like she  had chosen to make money off of her husbands very tragic death, but it is important to see the situation exactly as it is. On September 11, Lisa Beamer, a mother of two small children with one on the way was told that her husband died trying to save others. I don't know if any of you have been in such a situation, and if you have you have my sympathy, but it is not something that one could possibly plan for, but she showed EXTREME fortitude and did what she needed to do and did what, in all honesty, seems to be logical. She was able to think straight, beyond all reason, and just because she doesnt fit  the idea of what a woman recently widowed is to do, doesnt mean that what she did was wrong. She tried to make the best of a terrible situation and for that she deserves our utmost respect. On another note, if she is remarried, which for her sake I hope she is, it is not something else that should be added to list of why she is a "terrible" person. I doubt that she will ever move on from Todd and i don't believe that she is even trying to, but in the absence of others, ones life does not have to come to a screeching hault. If she has been able to come to terms with her husband passing by the grace of God then there is no reason why she cannot find love again.
