Live Cricket Score: India vs England, fourth Test match, Day 3
Catch live scores and ball-by-ball commentary of day three's play between India and England here.
India batsmen Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni both scored patient half centuries to frustrate England as India crawled along at snail's pace to reach the tea break at 227 for four.
Even though England failed to get a wicket in either session of Day Three of the fourth Test, they won't be to unhappy with the way the match is progressing.
India are still103 runs behind England's total with seven sessions to go in the match and both teams to bat once more.
A draw does seem the most likely outcome at this stage, with India scoring at a run rate of 2.27, and England will gladly take that -- already being 2-1 up in the four-match series.
Kohli's 77 came off 234 balls, while Dhoni took 186 balls to reach his 75. Their 156-run partnership so far has come of a whopping 410 balls. The Indians will have to pick up their pace in the final session of the day if they are to take anything from this game.
Brief Scores: England 330 (Kevin Pietersen 73, Joe Root 73, Matt Prior 57, Graeme Swann 56; Piyush Chawla 4 for 69, Ishant Sharma 3 for 49) lead India 227 for 4 (Virat Kohli 77, MS Dhoni 75; James Anderson 3 for 43) by 103 runs
