Yuvraj Singh was the star of the show for India with impressive figures of 3/19 in his four overs. Wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler finished the innings off in style for England when at one stage looked India had pegged them back. He got 33* off 21 balls. Samit Patel too played a handy knock of 24 from 22 balls.

Ashok Dinda returned figures of 2/18 in three overs.

Alex Hales played a blistering knock of 56 off 35 balls while Luke Wright scored 34 off 21 before Yuvraj Singh brought India back into the game.

It did not start too well for the visiting side losing Michael Lumb for 1 off 10 balls early on to R Ashwin who looked dangerous to begin with.

Hales and Wright then joined hands to smash Ashok Dinda and debutant Parvinder Awana who inexplicably chose to bowl short on a decent batting track.

Hales, on his way to fourth T20I fifty, looked unflappable and with emaculate timing. He hit 7 fours and 2 straight sixes. The pair added on 68 before Wright was removed caught in the deep by Ajinkya Rahane off Yuvraj.

Hales and skipper Eoin Morgan followed Wright into the pavilion in Yuvi's next over to leave England struggling at 100/4.
