Have you been injured in a motorcycle accident?  Even if you haven't, with gas prices constantly going up and down, it is usually best to ride a bike to save money.  But what if you live outside city limits? Better read this.

If you are local to the Orange County, California area and you own a motorcycle, living outside of city limits can be dangerous to motorcycle riders because there are still several dangerous situations that you can find yourself in the middle of. Perhaps you live on the outskirts of Culver City, in Los Angeles, along the grassy rolling hills. If you live in these areas there is always a chance of rounding a sharp turn in the road and finding yourself smack dab in the middle of danger. Rounding sharp corners at night on a motorcycle can be dangerous because at night animals, even some pets like to go hunting for food, and sometimes they need to cross the road in order to do so. If you ever find yourself in this situation you more than likely will not have the time to stop, and if you swerve you could lose control. This could land you with severe facial lacerations, many broken bones, loss of a limb, road rash, and even paralysis.

If you find yourself in the hospital with serious pain and agony, getting an attorney may be the last thing on your mind, but it is also the most important thing you need to do. Finding a personal injury attorney may sound like a long and drawn out process but you need to find one as soon as possible for you. You need to find a lawyer that specializes in motorcycle accidents and is familiar with the laws involving animals and how they could be regulated.

With all of your hospital bills that are piling up and the in-home nursing fees and fees for hospital supplies that you may need at your home to doctor your wounds, it can all add up extremely quickly. When you experience this, panic usually starts kicking in because you start to realize that you are going into debt and you are not able to do anything about it because you are disabled from your wounds.

There was no news of why it was dangerous outside the city limits, more about finding an attorney. Would be interested in more factual information, stats, examples etc.

As a rider, I was hoping to see more pertaining to the headline. (If you're looking for a lawyer, that means you've already crashed)

Riders should seek out good attorneys.  Good advice.

It's all to do with taking more care, driving slower than normal, here in the Philippines drivers have to be much more observant and switched on to the danger's of animals, people and oncoming trucks, buses and coaches of whom hog the road and expect everybody to get out of their way.

Slowing down on bends and expecting trouble, driving defencely is the way to stay alive or not ending up in a wheel chair. Unfortunaly young motor drivers sometimes think the road is a race track.

The author is totally clueless about the dangers of riding, of which there are many. Riding outside the city limits is NOT one of them. If anything you're probably more at risk within the city limts from car drivers who don't see you or don't pay attention.

I appreciate your opinion and respectfully disagree.  I am a lawyer and a rider.  Riding outside city limits means increased speeds, which translates to greater fatalities and greater chances of being killed by a big rig truck.

I'd like to see the statistics on that. I suppose if you do have an accident, it might be worse at higher speeds. However, imo you are more likely to have an accident within city limits, especially in a large metro area like LA. I also think the big truck is more likely to run you over in a big city. I have lived and ridden extensively in NYC and for the last 20 years have lived in the Hudson Valley. I am far safer riding here than in New York's 5 boroughs.

If you are incapable of dealing with a curve here and there or your reaction time is such that you cannot respond defensively to big trucks you might want to consider a different mode of transportation.

So are you suggesting accidents at low speeds are MORE dangerous?
