They are two of the most known female celebrities out there, and last night, Reese Witherspoon honored her pal, Jennifer Aniston, at ELLE’s 18th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute.

As previously reported, the “Water for Elephants” hottie and the “Just Go With It” beauty gave the paparazzi their dream shot as the two embraced for several pictures ahead of and during the event.

When Witherspoon took the stage to introduce her pal, she had nothing but nice things to say, including a little tid-bit about how much she appreciates her friend. Reese told, "There's not that many people actually that have this incredible combination of sex appeal and complete love-ablilty. You just want to get your nails done with her, and you want to make out with her at the same time . . . at least I do!" she revealed.

The laughing actress went on, "First we get our nails done, then we make out! It's totally awesome. That's because she's MY friend, not yours!"

To this, Aniston thanked her funny friend once she accepted her award. "Good Lord, Reese Witherspoon! Wow. I adore you and I thank you for those beautiful words."

Other gals in attendance to receive their accolades at the 18th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute included Freida Pinto, Evan Rachel Wood, Naomi Watts and Michelle Pfeiffer.

Topping off the tributes was L'Oreal Paris Legend award winner Barbara Streisand, who was cheered on by celebrity spectators such as Katherine Heigl, Chloe Moretz, Abigail Breslin, Rachel Zoe, Amber Heard, Camila Alves, Chelsea Handler, Nicole Richie, Jenna Dewan, Jon Hamm and "Vampire Diaries" hunk Ian Somerhalder.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Olsen proudly took the podium to graciously accept the Calvin Klein Collection emerging star award.

Of this year's selections, Elle Editor in Chief Robbie Myers said in a statement, "As has long been our tradition, this year we honor an extraordinary group of women who continue to redefine what is possible in Hollywood."
