NP Rank:
'Love Guru' Leads Razzie Award Nominations for Worst Movies
UPDATED | Jan. 21 — Nominations for the 29th Annual Razzie awards (aka the Golden Raspberry Awards) for the most awesomely bad moments in movie-making have been released — and this year's list is full of egregious examples of awfulness.
Leading the losing pack is Mike Myers' The Love Guru which "swept all the major categories and virtually the entire cast...was Razzie'd".
It's hard not to see agree that certain films (The, ahem, Love Guru) simply should never have been made; that some "actresses" are barely worth the designation (Paris, ahem, Hilton), and that many a recent prequel has completely "nuked the fridge" (Indiana Jones, what happened?).
Which films, actors, directors, and sequels do you think comprised 2008's 'worst of the worst'? Vote in our Worst of the Worst poll!

Uwe Boll, makes the list again! I worked on a couple of his movies a few years back, he does many of them here in Vancouver. And I know I will incur the wrath of Uwe's haters, but I thought Postal was hilarious.

Also, Boll is infamous for challenging his detractors to a boxing match. So far, none have stepped up.

Yes, 3 challenged him actually. They had a boxing match at Plaza of Nations a few years ago, I was there. He then wrote at least one of them into Postal, and the blogger ended up changing his tune and saying Boll wasn't such a bad guy after all...

Why is Rambo on there? I thought it was great.

I can understand why X-Files: I want to believe is on that list. It was a poor sequal to the X-files series.

Rambo 4 was a great flick. Not the crap like 2 or 3. Straight forward, semi-believable from a tactical standpoint. Probably pissed off a lot of weenies, since people like John Rambo are evil in the eyes of media, yet its people like John that save their asses from their false fantasy worlds time and again. I liked it for that simple realistic irony.
