From the first time I heard this 5 foot 1 soulful voice in the 70's I feel in love with Teena Marie. I played and sang her songs all the time at parties, around the house(still do) and must say I did do her songs justice. In those moments I was Teena Marie. It was a shock, and saddens me to hear of her passing. I know that to live is to die but as longs as there are those still here to remember, we're never really gone. She has touched alot of hearts and souls, and will forever be remembered in a legacy of music not just to her family, but to all of us who loved her, and it will go on through generations to come.To the family, there are no words of comfort I can give to you, but that my heart hurts with yours. Thank you for sharing the best that you had with us. With ME and I will forever keep my Irons In The Fire....... Forever loving you Lady-T your #1Fan.

Loving you forever vanilla chocolate. You were the best. There are no words to express your music. You were a down all together lady. You were my idle. To the family, my heart hurts with your too.
