Is Luis Miguel Dead? Or is He Another Victim of a Celebrity Death Hoax?

Luis Miguel, a popular Mexican singer was reportedly hospitalized in Los Angeles three days ago and now there are rumors circulating that Luis Miguel has in fact died. However, this news has not been confirmed by any official source and appears to be just a rumor.

Luis Miguel was reported to be in hospital by an entertainment news program called Escandalo TV on the Telefutura network, but few details are known about his possible hospitalization. Another TV show called El Gordo y la Flaca, which is on Univision, reported that Luis Miguel was hospitalized last week in Los Angeles at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital.

Why Was Luis Miguel Hospitalized?

As stated before, reports are sketchy and speculative at best, but some state that he was there as part of a rehab program for cocaine, and others say that Luis Miguel had plastic surgery and that is why he needs time in hospital to recover. The hospital will not reveal any details about former or current patients so the media will have to wait for a formal statement from Luis Miguel himself.

Nothing has been confirmed at this time however, but Luis Miguel is not dead so those rumors can be put to rest.
