M.I.A. Baby's name revealed

Rapper M.I.A. had no plans to release her son's name until TMZ.com obtained a copy of the birth certificate which identifies the son of M.I.A as Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman.

When she gave birth to her son, a representative said the name would be held private and not be released. Speculations and rumors began to swirl as many started guessing the name of M.I.A's baby. The name Ickitt was often linked to the boy, but M.I.A posted on her MySpace Blog that "My baby is not called Ickitt, Pickit or Lickit, thank you very much!" She was right, his name is not Ickitt, but Ikhyd. Close enough.
