Oscar-nominated rapper, singer, and new baby mama M.I.A. (aka Maya Arulpragasam) wants to perform at this year's Oscars ceremony on February 22nd -- even though she gave birth to a new baby just last week.
Somehow, it wouldn't be suprising if she managed to do it, as she last performed at the Grammy Awards on the night she was due to give birth -- and she went into labour just hours after returning from the show.
AR Rahman, who composed the soundtrack to 'Slumdog Millionaire', has said that MIA has been thinking up innovative ways to be able to perform at the Oscars ceremony in Hollywood on February 22 - despite having recently given birth.
The composer of the hit film, which features MIA's song 'Paper Planes', told BBC News that she wanted to play at the ceremony - just weeks after she performed live heavily pregnant at the Grammy awards, on February 8 on Los Angeles.

OMG!!! If M.I.A. feels fine, and her baby's fine, why shouldn't she perform? She gave birth; she's not injured or ill.
