On August 4, 2009, Madonna performed in front of 80,000 spectators in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, as part of her Sticky and Sweet tour. The concert was attended by Estonia's Presidential couple. Touched by the performance, the first lady of Estonia Evelin Ilves decided to give Madonna a gift. Ilves handed a designer sports suite with traditional Estonian ornaments to Madonna's manager Peeter Rebane. It was later alleged that the manager threw away the gift, without even showing it to Madonna, who declined to meet with the first lady one-on-one. The only internet sources discussing the incident are in Spanish, and can be viewed here.
