Madonna's Neighbours File Lawsuit Over Excessive Noise

The neighbours of American singer and actress Madonna are complaining of the excessive noise coming out from her Manhattan apartment. They say Madonna is using her apartment as a recording studio, creating too much noise when rehearsing. They say Madonna and her guests dance and train to unreasonably high-decibel music, causing noise and vibrations. Madonna's neighbours are planing to sue the building co-op over their inability to do anything about the singer's noise violations. Madonna herself has yet to make a comment about this.

Karen George, who lives above 51-year-old Madonna near Central Park, filed a lawsuit against the building’s co-op Friday, claiming she regularly hears "blaring music, stomping and shaking walls," for almost three hours a day. The board has already threatened to evict Madonna for noisiness, but George said they haven’t acted since her first complaint in 2008

with the amount of wealth Madonna has accumulated over many years, surely she can afford to soundproof the place. I feel so sorry for the neighbour, she has a right to peace in her own home.
