Madonna's Stage Collapses in Marseille: 2 Dead, 9 Injured

Madonna's stage collapsed during set up today in Marseille, France, killing two stage hands and injuring nine others.
The men have been identified as Englishman Charles Prow, 32, and Frenchman Charles Criscenzo, 53.
Madonna was due to perform there on July 19 for her Sticky and Sweet tour at the Velodrome Stadium, but the stage collapsed on a crane, which then fell on the workers setting up the structure.
The concert has now been canceled according to the French press.
Madonna has issued the following statement: "I am devastated to have just received this tragic news. My prayers go out to those who were injured and their families along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news."
