Manolito y su Trabuco in Peru: Success !!

while in other countries, the concerts of Cuban musicians are cancelled due to low sales, in Peru the situation seems to be quite different, as stated by the Peruvian website  salsaytimba.pe,days before,Manolito Simonet and Trabuco had been playing in many night clubs.
The big concert was held in Timbalero latin disco (a full capacity ), in the popular neighbourhood of La Victoria.
explosion/habana & a conquistar were the two Peruvians bands which were playing before as a warming-up, prior to the main event of the night.
Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco,performed his old songs, hits, like
"Saliditas Contigo", played by the spectacular singer Ricardo Amaray.  "EL águila", "Caballo Grande", "Te dejo Libre", "Linda Melodía",sung by El "Noro" Valladares together with Lázaro "Mayami", Locos por mi habana,etc.
the upcoming bands which are scheduled to arrive in Peru in this 2009 are: Los Van Van, elio Reve,Adalberto Alvarez & Charanga Habanera.
That's why is the reason that Lima-Peru, is called the Capital of La Timba in South America.
