J-Lo and Marc Anthony Split

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are splitting up after seven years of marriage.

J-Lo and Marc Anthony told People Magazine, "This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters."

Lopez and Anthony are parents to twins Max and Emme, born in 2008. This will have been Jennifer Lopez' third marriage, and Marc Anthony's second; the two had dated briefly before Anthony's first marriage to former Miss Universe Dayanara Jones.

Both Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are from New York City: she was born in the Bronx, he was born in East Harlem.
