Marilyn Monroe Sex Tape Sells For $1.5 Million

Since the advent of internet video sites, western culture has become increasingly obsessed with the discovery of celebrity sex tapes -- and a new one always seems to be 'released' just in time to satiate the public's appetite for the naked and disgraced.

With that in mind, I'm neither surprised that a 1960's era Marilyn Monroe 16mm 'sex-reel' has surfaced, nor surprised that some NY suit decided to fork over $1.5 million to buy it.

A New York businessman has plopped down $1.5 million for a video purported to show Marilyn Monroe performing oral sex on an unidentified fellow. The 16mm film footage is a copy of a still-FBI-classified reel that appears to have been shot in the 1950s. The racy skin flick surfaced in the mid-’60s and, according to declassified agency documents and interviews, then-FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover ordered his agents investigate the identity of the blond bombshell’s sex partner. Hoover apparently suspected John F. Kennedy or Robert F. Kennedy as the man on the receiving end, but after a two week investigation, the FBI found no proof pointing to either Kennedy.
