May 4 is Star Wars Day
Happy Star Wars Day... May the Fourth be with you. Yeah, I know it's geeky, but use Star Wars Day for a purpose:
- Remember the original trilogy, before nonsense like Jar Jar F*cking Binks and midichlorians.
- Remember that Han shot first. Greedo was framed after his death, which is just wrong.
- Remember that Anakin Skywalker's blue ghost is not Hayden Christensen.
- Remember that Leia totally made out with her brother on Hoth. She should be in Game of Thrones.
Also consider the fascinatingly geeky theory that Chewbacca and R2D2 were the secret leaders of the galactic rebellion: A New Sith, or Revenge of the Hope. You must admit that it makes a certain amount of sense.
Also, you have to celebrate Star Wars Day by watching the best Darth Vader mashup ever made, which is viewable below, along with several other Star Wars fan favorites.
Is Star Wars Day big on Twitter? You could say that, yes.

JORDAN, it has been a full ten years since the prequels began and I think it's high time Star Wars 'purists' got over Hayden Christensen being added in on the third film by George Lucas. It you are an adult, adults learn to move on, forgive and forget or we learn to be tolerant of another person's views. These type of articles are harmful, distructive and injurious to Hayden and his career, especially since it was never his decision to have his image replace the original. It is such a childish view especially since the great majority of Star Wars fans did not care about the image either way. It was obvious to the majority of Star War fans also, that it was Lucas's story and no one elses...not YOURS and not mine. It was certainly within his realm of authority to have it acted, directed and "imaged" any way he wanted. Personally, I love ALL the Star Wars movies and am grateful to have been exposed to such wonderfully written stories!!! It gave us ALL rich and wonderful new insights and imaginations and inspired us throughout much of our life journey. So, please, give Hayden Christensen some latitude or leeway, he's worked very hard in his career and has put out some outstanding work (Life As A House, Shattered Glass, Jumper, Takers). Now that he's turned 30 in April, he will 'hit his stride' and truly come into his own within his career. I can't wait to see his up-coming performances, giving us new and varied characterizations on the big screen
