Being a young adult Salvador Dali was an icon, someone who lived a life in glamour but showed very clearly that he has not appreciated this life. Salvador was born as the second son to his family, but, his older brother just died weeks before he was born. His name was Salvador as well. So the parents decided naming the newborn child just like their first son _ Slavador. For them it probably was an act of grief. But since Salvador dali found out, he was a teenager then, he figured that the life he had been living was not ment to be for him.

That influenced his art, his sculptors and his way of life.

A good place to meet his personality is in Figueres, Spain. A museum he had chosen for his art, he had designt and later on he was buried there.

People who enjoy his creative work from all over the world come to Figueres and will not be dissapointed, since Salavador Dali's personality can be felt in every corner.
