Shortly after Megan Wants a Millionaire contestant Ryan Jenkins was named as a person of interest in the death of his newlywed wife Jasmine Fiore, VH1 announced that it would not air any further episodes of the reality TV show. VH1 also removed all traces of the show's existence from its website save for an official announcement on the show's suspension. All previous Megan Wants a Millionaire pages now redirect to this announcement or the VH1 homepage.

The quick, and some say rash, decision by VH1 to stop airing episodes of Megan Wants a Millionaire led to wild internet speculation that Ryan Jenkins was the winner. Even before an arrest warrant was issued for Ryan Jenkins (he has since been charged with murder in the case) the quick action taken by VH1 suggests that if Ryan Jenkins isn't the winner of Megan Wants a Millionaire, he was a key player in future episodes.
If Ryan Jenkins wasn't a strong contender in Megan Wants a Millionaire VH1 could have edited him out of future episodes. The fact that they did not choose this route is suspicious. But is Ryan Jenkins the Megan Wants a Millionaire winner? Not likely, and here's why...
Megan Wants a Millionaire stopped filming in March, the same month that Ryan Jenkins met Jasmine Fiore. Ryan Jenkins met Jasmine Fiore while on a trip in Vegas shortly after filming of Megan Wants a Millionaire wrapped and married her after knowing her for only 48 hours. That sounds like the behavior of a man who has recently lost another woman, not a man who has just been chosen as a winner in love.
The most likely scenario is not that Ryan Jenkins is the Megan Wants a Millionaire winner, but rather that he was the runner up. His arrival in Las Vegas around the time filming ended, his rebound affair with a swimsuit model, and the shot gun wedding to that swimsuit model, all point to Ryan Jenkins being the biggest loser on the show... the last man Megan sent packing.
"Megan Wants A Millionaire" canceled or not, people still want to know who the winner was. TMZ and other media outlets have reported the Ryan Jenkins went to Las Vegas shortly after being tossed from the show, which some have taken to mean that he did not win. The supposition that he did not win stems from the fact that the filming of "Megan Wants A Millionaire" occurred in February and March, and it was on that Las Vegas trip that he met his future wife, Jasmine Fiore, at a Hawaiian tropic event. The two were married two days after they met, on March 18.

I think they did the right thing to pull the show. The show was very upset by all this with Ryan Jenkins and thought they had done all the proper paper work and background checks on him. Apparently some of the background checks did not come back properly and the show, I feel, Had some great concerns as to maybe there were others that did not get checked right, not by their fault, and could have anothe "Ryan" on their hands.

This had nothing to do with background checks. He did this long after the show was started, filmed and over. Background checks can't predict the future and they're no good if he has no prior arrests or convictions. Background checks don't cover "Are you now or have you ever been a psychopath?" I think Vh1 should air the episodes online. That way, those who wish to watch, can watch. Those who don't want to, don't. I'm not being unsympathetic. This is a horrible thing but Vh1 is not remotely at fault for what happened and should not have their media completely removed. They should make it optional to watch.

I agree. What happened was unimaginable but VH1 had nothing to do with it, and those of us who enjoyed watching the show can look beyond that. The show was definitely entertaining, and I hope they consider airing it at a future date when all of the 'hype' goes away.

On E! they showed a clip of the show and it looked like it was from the final episode, it showed two guys in tuxes and it was Ryan and Alex. Maybe Alex won.

Yuh the girl died, i feel bad it had happend , but it had happend, what's done is done. He messed up, and think about the last days, how much pain he was in, i feel so bad for him, I wish I could of been there to comfort him and not let him Commit suicide. People use to Kill other peopole all the time, "clean the streets" , he let it get to him, whatever he associated in his nervous system led him to suicide, he could of ignored it. He was convicted in Canada of assaulting an ex girlfriend & reports were filed about him beating this deceased girl. We all know what the next step is after a good beating....(Think OJ) So, as to your other post about his actions not being "intentional", please, get a clue!
