Mel Gibson Calls Reporter Dean Richards an A--Hole: Video

Mel Gibson is out promoting his new film Edge of Darkness but it seems like some reporters still want to talk about Mel Gibson's driving conviction four years ago and when he had what many call his 'anti-semitic tirade'.

Reporter Dean Richards for Chicago's WGN-TV did just this when Richards asked Gibson "Do you think the public will perceive you any differently after all that's been in the news about you?"

"That's almost four years ago, dude," Gibson snaps after an uncomfortable silence. "I've done all the necessary mea culpas. Let's move on."

Dean Richards then wraps up the interview pretty quickly, but it seems as if Mel thinks he is already off camera as at the end he says 'bye bye a--hole'.

We're not sure if anyone is shocked by Gibson's behavior at this point.

Some people never learn when to keep quiet.

Cameras on or off, good for Gibson.  He told the guy to move on and obviously the reporter had no interest in his film, just wanted dirt for the gossip columns.

Dean, my compliments for not joining in on Mel Gibson's childish behavior and for keeping your cool during and after your interview of him.  He is a great actor and my wife and I enjoyed "Edge of Darkness" when we saw it last Friday evening.  Gibson said four years ago is a long time and he has moved on...evidently he has not, as his name calling of you (and IMHO his odd physical behavior during your interview) clearly signals that he is a somewhat unbalanced person.  My opinion of him as an actor has not changed but as a person he has dropped quite a bit on my chart (not that he would care, mind you).

When Mel THINKS he's off air???? The guy's been a film/tv actor for over 30 years.  Y'think he doesn't know when the rig is on? These events are always scripted, and Dean obviously got "off topic". Dean and ass. (associates) , after hearing the truth, obviously have trouble dealing with it. They have no trouble splashing "said truth" around, though. Hey Deano, "When an A-Hole splashes, it's always a big clean-up."  I love potty humour. Don't you?

Ya gotta love people who comment without knowing the facts. Allow me to enlighten you with the following posted on another site. "Asking Mel Gibson during an interview for his first movie since his incredibly offensive remarks that sidelined his career how he thinks the public now perceives him is a perfectly legitimate question that any interviewer should've asked. Dean Richards even told Gibson's PR people ahead of time that he would do so. I don't believe the interview was supposed to be just a commercial for the movie. It was Gibson that forced Richards to detail the incidents when he lied (again) by acting as though he didn't know what Richards was referring to. As for Gibson's condescending response during the interview and name-calling after, you'd have to be headless to not realize that Gibson either doesn't realize the magnitude of his actions that sidelined him or that he just couldn't care less. If he did, he would've simply said something like, I screwed up big time and I hope the people I offended (and who spend their hard-earned dollars to continue making me a millionaire) realize that my regret is truly sincere and that they see my movie. After seeing the entire unedited interview, all I see is a man who continues to think disparagingly of Jews, women and gays."

Mel Gibson is an ignoramous who was brought up by a nut of a father, he claims to be a good catholic and gets a woman not his wife pregnant! What IDIOT said that he is a "good actor", hello???? HE HAS BECOME A BIGGER FOOL AS THE YEARS PASS.
