Farrah Fawcett tribute - "Forever Farrah"

Melissa Joan Hart was praying last week that ailing actress Farrah Fawcett would not die from cancer, which is nice right?

But according to a conversation of hers that was overheard at KTLA studios in LA, the reason she was hoping Farrah wouldn't die was so that Melissa could keep her People Magazine cover as Farrah's death would definitely bump her off the cover.

Farrah passing away, which seemed fairly likely, given her declining health, would've been big news and bumped Hart's bikini body and weight loss tips off.

That would have been as tragic as it gets - for Hart.

How much more self-centered could you be?

Melissa did post this update on her MySpace page earlier today:

My apology to Farrah
Current mood:  crushed It has come to my attention that something I said has been completely misconstrued in the press.  I was merely explaining what I had read about how the cover of People magazine was chosen from an article last week I read in the Times. I truly hope that Farrah and her family know I wish them the best at this time in her life. And that I would never be so selfish to disrespect anyone, let alone someone I admire greatly.

I beleive she has been concerned about Farrah,s well being. Simply because I hate to think of her being so cold and calculated at a time when the dying Farrah needs only genuine love and caring people around her, til her battle is over and she can rest in peace, with no more suffering and pain. If ! however Miss Hart was being so heartless about such a delicate issue, then she deserves to be crushed.

I believe Melissa.  She is a very kind person and wouldn't say anything like that.
