Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival 2010 Lineup Announced
The lineup for the 2010 Beale Street Music Festival was announced today. The Beale Street Music Festival is a part of the Memphis in May International Festival.
Starting in 1977, this year marks the 34th anniversary of the original Memphis in May festival. The festival itself, held in Memphis, Tennessee, is divided into four parts starting with the Beale Street Music Festival, followed by International Week, The World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest, all culminating in the Sunset Symphony on the final night.
The Memphis in May International Festival kicks off on Friday, April 30, 2010 with the Beale Street Music Festival running through the duration of the weekend and ending on Sunday, May 2.

they don't have big name rappers performing because they don't want gangs and shootings happening at the festival. Everytime a bunch of black people get together, they always have to ruin a good time by fighting.
