Micah Sloat Dead? Paranormal Activity Provides the Answer
Micah Sloat and Katie Featherston are the stars of the new movie Paranormal Activity, and people are wondering if Micah Sloat is dead at the end of the movie or even at the beginning of the movie.
Well, unless you have seen it, you have no answer to if Micah Slot is dead or not.
The movie was shot with only a budget of $11,000 and the camera work is done by Micah and Katie themselves. The shooting took place at director Oren Peli's home and the place appears to be haunted. Micah sets up a camera in the bedroom to record the paranormal activity taking place.
Micah Sloat installs the camera in the bedroom to capture the activity going around in the room. Much of film’s scary effects derive from the fact that viewers watch the movie through the cam installed by Micah. The footage obtained is viewed in the morning.
The paranormal activity increases throughout the nights, and the style of filming has been likened to that of the Blair Witch Project.
Micah Sloat himself is not dead, but his character in the film may be....

Its not based on a true story. There is a thing at the end (no credits actually, so yay) that says all of the characters and events told in the story are completely factual.

so um pretty sure you just made no sense there..you said it was not based on a true story..but then at the end you said that it was completely factual..if im not mistaken then doesnt factual mean like facts as in its true as in its based on facts..how can it be factual but not true at the same time..

i mean i saw it last night... really really enjoyed it but im not believing this is the true footage, maybe based on A TRUE STORY... at the end of the movie it say she disappeared, but why is it that her history of films say she's in some movie that was supposed to be released this year?? was it postponed b/c of her "disappearance"?? but anyway, there is also another version out with a TOTALLY different ending and some parts cut out. imagine me telling ppl to "watch out for this one part!" or "the ending is messed up!" but when they come to discuss it with me, it's like we've seen 2 different movies! excuse me for being a skeptic but.... real footage, i think not

Movie was obviously fake... Ghosts are real, as are demons. Micah was easy on the eyes. Would watch more movies with him in it. Be careful what you invite into your world. I am sure all of that has actually happened to someone else. Although maybe not all the same exact things to one single person. You never know who a demon will attach itself to.

the film is played out by actors but apparently they actualy had the real tapes and copied them as you can probly imagine hollywood probly over exadgerated it a little lol but at the end it shows the actual micah n katie in a picture movie would have been miles scarier if they just used the real stuff imo but i spose that would be sorta unfair on the famlies of the people instead they dedicate the film to them which seems alot more respectful good film tho pretty scarry -

Two endings? I've only seen one. Where is the other one?
at 14:12 on November 3rd, 2009
There was actually three endings filmed for this movie - one of them was only shown once however and the other one didn't do as well as the one that is shown in theatres.

Yea there are 3 different ending to this movie that I've heard about. (which provides some evidence to this being fake.) Also a 4th part was attempted but never filmed. Now the thing that gets me is, If 1 of the opposed 4 parts were real, which one is the real one? I don't think any of them are real. My reason for that being is if the edited versions used any type of equipment to simulate a "real live" haunting, don't you think that they used these for the whole movie? They'll probably say they simply used it for the false filming, and that the real one was "too scary" or disturbing for theaters. So far there is no proof to me that this is actually real or fake, and im just gathering info to determine this. But I beleive this will all be for nothing because they'll eventually deny that the movies was actually said to be real footage and was only based on a true story.. :p

THAT DOESNT MEAN THAT IT FAKE IT MEANS THAT AFTER IT WAS FILMED, WEATHER THEY LIVED OR DIED, IT WAS EDITED. AT THE END OF THE ONE I SAW PRODUCERS THANKED THE PARENTS OF BOTH PEOPLE AND THE POLICE , I CANT TELL IF ITS REAL OR FAKE BUT THERE WAS ALOT OF EDITING.

Ok so I am a total believer in ghost but to any of you out there thinking this movie is real.... WOW. How sheltered do you really have to be. I feel like I have been jipped out of 8 dollars for seeing this movie. It was portrayed as real footage and it is more than obvious that its not. The thought of it being REAL was the only thing remotely freaky about this movie. I do have to say kudos to Katie, Micah, and the director for turning an 11,000 dollar movie into a multi-million dollar movie!! ~CLAPPING~ Wish I would of thought of it! ;)

this movie was an absolute joke. i mean seriously, its an illusion. there was nothing fraky at al about this movie. the fact that everyone believes in a $10 buck quija board being the pathway to the other side is ridiculous. tell the demon to come get some if he wants. ill be waiting right here in kansas. oh yeah i want my money back mr director hahahaha

I hope you are like ten years old. Calling demons like that is stupid. Of course this is just a film, and a fictional, but well done story. But what yoy are doing is still very dumb. I hope you survive.

To be completely honest i believed it was a true story because of the reality of it. this has to be the scariest movies i have ever seen. for me its not gore and guts that scares me, yet the thought that it could actually happen. DEMONS ARE REAL and do posses humans although not that imparticular one but it does happen.

A Ouija board costing ten bucks or nothing at all, is supposedly a medium to the other side. Of course there likely is no other side. I thought the film was interesting. However, obviously its not real. But the people who say they didn't like it sound like they are scared and hoping that its silly. Like Patrick G for example. I mean who cares what they used to contact the thing? the important part was that Micah initiated contact thus creating a window of opportunity. Its definitely not silly.
