Marie Osmond's Son Funeral to Take Place on Monday After Suicide

Michael Blosil, Marie Osmond's 18-year-old son committed suicide last Friday night by jumping to his death, and Canoe has now learned that he will be laid to rest in a funeral service in Utah on Monday.

Michael Blosil's friends and family will gather in Utah early next week to say their final goodbyes to the troubled young man.

In an atuopsy on the body, results proved inconclusive and the cause of death is currently listed as 'deferred.'

The Osmond Family Rally Around Marie Osmond

Marie Osmond has been at her Las Vegas home and although her show with her brother Donny will resume next Tuesday night, the entire family has come down to Las Vegas to be with the grieving mother.

Donny Osmond told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday:

"As we all know, whenever there is a situation when there needs to be rallying, the Osmonds rally around each other and support each other. There's a lot of that going on right now. We all flew down to Vegas to be there for her. It meant a lot to her to have us at her house."

This is just a sad story no matter how you put it. I mean the young man had his whole future ahead of him. My heart goes out to the Marie Osmond and her family.

Marie... Do you think it is wise to return to the show so soon? We can all wait! You need time to grieve and time to yourself. Contracts or no contracts, this is a time for you and your family - not the public. The public understands. You've given your whole life to the fans - let the fans give you time to come to terms with everything. We can wait!

Just another example of how adoption can mess a kid up. Imagine being adopted into a Mormon singing group family, and that adoptee happens to be gay. No wonder the kid's suicide note said he never fit in. Adoption by celebrities should be banned.

So the Osmonds are Mormon and they adopt a child. God bless them! There have been many suicides lately by famous people, and guess, what, they aren't children of Mormons. Bryan received a lot love and tender care since he was adopted. Maybe he always wondered why his real mom would give him away. I repect the Mormon faith the way they teach their members to love unconditionally.
