Is Michael Collings the Next Susan Boyle?

Michael Collings wowed audiences around the world when he opened his mouth to sing Tracy Chapman's Fast Car on Britain's Got Talent this past weekend.

It was the Susan Boyle syndrome, when Michael Collings first came on stage everyone wasn't sure he would be an amazing singer, and then once he opened his mouth, everyone just shut up.

All three judges voted for Collings, who of course moved on in the competition.

When asked about what happened he said:

“It’s been an amazing experience, just amazing. I’m speechless to be honest. I can’t really explain it.”

Asked if he was ready to deal with his new-found fame, the dad of one, from Saltash, Cornwall, replied: “Not really. I’m going to take it as it comes.”

His video on YouTube has already received more than one million hits, and there is also a video of him singing Hallelujah for his audition.
