Michael Gough, Alfred from the Batman Movies, Dies at 94

Veteran actor Michael Gough, best known to American audiences as Alfred in Batman, Batman Returns, Batman and Robin, and Batman Forever, has passed away at 94.

Doctor Who fans are feeling the loss of Michael Gough, too: he played The Celestial Toymaker opposite William Hartnell, the First Doctor. From 1947 to 2011, Michael Gough has made 179 screen and voiceover appearances.
