Michael Jackson Autopsy Complete: What Killed King of Pop?

An autopsy performed on Michael Jackson is now complete and there is no clear signs of foul play. The death of Michael Jackson shocked fans around the globe and it was hoped an autopsy would offer answers; it only roused more questions.

It has been suggested that a demerol injection may have caused the King of Pop's heart to stop, and that he may have been taking too many prescriptions for pain from previous dance injuries. Toxicology tests will have to be run to address these issues. Complete results from Michael Jackson's autopsy could take six to eight weeks to be confirmed, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's office.

The body of the King of Pop was flown via helicopter to the Los Angeles Coroner's Office where an autopsy will be performed late June 25, 2009 or early June 26, 2009.

The question on everyone's mind is likely: What killed Michael Jackson? While it was announced that Michael Jackson suffered from a cardiac arrest when he was brought to hospital, it is unclear what may have caused his heart to stop. Cardiac arrest is a total stoppage of the heart, as opposed to a heart attack which is caused by an irregularity.

A spokesman for the L.A. County Coroner's office said Michael Jackson's autopsy would begin this morning and would be conducted by the chief medical examiner and the assistant chief pathologist.

Jackson family friend Brian Oxman alluded to something untoward in the death of Michael Jackson when he spoke with CNN shortly before the death of the King of Pop was confirmed. The autopsy will clear up any questions about outside factors causing Jackson's death.

It is not uncommon for men in their late 40's and early 50's to succumb to cardiac arrest, Michael Jackson could have died of natural causes. But comments made by Brian Oxman compared Michael Jackson to Anna-Nicole Smith leaving the door open for questions about some level of foul play. Police are conducting a routine investigation at Michael Jackson's home.

Meanwhile, Michael Jackson's doctor's car has been towed in for investigation, in case any pharmaceuticals found in it can shed some light on the investigation: the doctor himself, who was living with Jackson at the time of his death, has been missing.

The car may contain "medications pertinent to the investigation" into Jackson's death, said detective Agustin Villanueva of Los Angeles Police Department.

No word on when, or if, the details of Michael Jackson's autopsy report will be made public.

The 'Thriller' star was pronounced dead at 2.26pm (9.26pm GMT) today after being given CPR. Paramedics arrived at his California home following a 911 call.

"All we know is he was transported by paramedics in an ambulance in cardiac arrest with CPR in progress," a spokesperson for the coroner's office told The Times.

"We have no confirmation of anything beyond that he was taken from a residence in cardiac arrest. Nothing has been notified beyond that to the coroner."

It is being reported that an autopsy will be completed on Jackson later today.

I feel really bad because my childhood god is now history.... Life can be cruel sometimes and now it's the turn of my Michael...I loved him as a child, i loved as a teen and i still love him as an adult and will always love him....I wanted to invite him for my wedding when am ready to get married so that he can sing speechless to my wife.....but now he wont be able to sing it again....I know he has gone to a place where he is going to have peace of mind...far away from those stupid reporters who i believe contributed to his untimely death....There is one thing i know for sure...he is still a god to many people......Rest in peace Michael.....I will always remember you....

The media lied about 911, Iraq's WMD, Princess Diana's death, they are lying about this too. Note the real cause of death is not yet known; yet the media has pronounced "Heart Attack" Why?

Think people there was a tremendous effort to stop these concerts. The media with no evidence reported world wide last DEC.22 that Jackson was dying. Since the announcement of the UK tours Jackson passed 2 physicals yet the media has been propagating he was "gravely ill". Look for MJ news(YOUTUBE) footage from the last couple of months you will see him shopping, rehearsals and you will see he was not "sick". This will be another distraction.

Shortly after this he annouced a tour and began working on a possible tour. Yet the media continued with the agenda.

I'm sure te family will get their scripts on what to publically say. Also look at how fast the TV specials and shows were put together to "honor" Jackson; the same man they have smeared and lied about for the past 16 years.

The world will never forget him! He assured it himslef by his songs and just the way he was.. unique! Even with all bad times he had thanks to other people around him. I never liked him or his music and can't understand why some people are so interested in him. The music really was very average disposable pop and he seemed to me to be a deeply unpleasant man - especially in his attitudes and behaviour towards vulnerable children. It's really tedious hearing all the exagerrated praise today which he truly doesn't deserve. A sad end to an unhappy life.

You must be insane, Michael Jackson is, was, and will always be one of the most , influential artists of all time. Everyone from The Osmonds, to Justin Timberlake,The backstreet boys, to Usher, & ever Contemporary R&b artist to date, will name Michael as an influence.You can say what ever you want about his personal life, but to call his music average you must be out of your fucking mind. Why dont you go and download OFF THE WALL. That album is a master piece, or download motown 25 on youtube. This man from the time he was a baby was one of the most gifted individuals to walk the earth.
