Carriage Set To Transport Jackson's Body

Not even a week after his death, Michael Jackson broke yet more chart records, based on early sales numbers from Nielsen Soundscan.

Aside from being the #1 download on iTunes last week, the top nine positions on Billboard's Top Pop Catalog Albums chart will belong to Michael Jackson.

Based on preliminary sales numbers from Nielsen SoundScan, the top nine positions on Billboard's Top Pop Catalog Albums chart will house Jackson-related titles when the tally is released in the early morning on Wednesday. Nielsen SoundScan's sales tracking week ended at the close of business Sunday (June 28) night.

Jackson himself -- who died June 25 of cardiac arrest at age 50 -- has a record eight out of the top 10, and a Jackson 5 compilation also finds its way into the upper tier.

The news comes as fans begin to camp out at Neverland Ranch in anticipation of the public viewing of Michael Jackson's body on Friday. Vehicles and workers have been seen entering and exiting the compound, about 150 miles northwest of Los Angeles, while members of Jackson's family have met with police to discuss funeral arrangements.

Fans have gathered outside Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch following reports that the late singer's body will go on public view there.

Various sources claim a public viewing has been scheduled for Friday ahead of a private funeral on Sunday.

A comeback in a coffin, its probably for the best - his concerts would have been a huge dissapointment. Now we know he wouldn't have been able to perform to the expected standard. No one would have wanted to see him die on stage. At least he cant hurt himself or others anymore.

For those making fun I have spent hours if not days defending this man.  I knew him and all of the accusation that have been brought to the public are simply false.  I worked for him for 20 years and wish all of you would see through the bs.  He was destroyed inside by the way we all turned our backs on him.  Here is how I see it.  A man can be accused and never found guilty or there be any proof of actual wrong doing, because he is different clearly he must be guilty. When there is evidence (R. Kelly) and its obvious he has done something wrong we turn a blind eye and still praise him and his work.  DOUBLE STANDARD!
