Michael Jackson Demerol Overdose?

Police are searching for the doctor that lived with Michael Jackson and reportedly gave him daily injections of pain killers. Dr. Conrad Robert Murray, Michael Jackson's personal physician, has gone missing and Police impounded the doctor's BMW. There are reports that Police found medication that could be related the the Michael Jackson's Cardiac Arrest.

UPDATE:

Michael Jackson's personal doctor, who Police are searching for, has been named. Conrad Robert Murray is the doctor that has been reportedly giving Michael Jackson daily injections of painkillers. There are reports that Michael Jackson received a shot of Demoral, aproximately and hour before his cardiac arrest.

The doctor's car was towed from Jackson's home Thursday and impounded, authorities said.

The car may contain "medications pertinent to the investigation" into Jackson's death, said detective Agustin Villanueva of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police did not release the doctor's name.

Public records show the car is registered to a Texas woman who is an associate of a cardiologist. The cardiologist is licensed in California and Texas and also has an office in Las Vegas, Nevada.

There are speculations that Michael Jackson died from an overdose of Demerol. TMZ is reporting the Michael Jackson's Family has said that he received a shot of Demerol at 11:30am an hour before he was hospitalized.

A close member of Michael Jackson's family has told us Jackson received a daily injection of a synthetic narcotic similar to morphine -- Demerol -- and yesterday he received a shot at 11:30 AM.

Family members are saying the dosage was "too much" and that's what caused his death.

The major hazard of Demerol is respiratory depression. To a lesser degree, other risks are circulatory depression; respiratory arrest, shock, and cardiac arrest.

Not everyone loved Michael - in fact most people didn't. Not that I wished him dead of course.

Most peopel infact did love MJ and I'm not a fan, but he was the one who had been abused most of his life by the peopel around him !!!

This idiot doctor went to Meharry Medical School in Nashville.  Living in Nashville, I can personally attest that the school is grossly overrated.  I would rather have a graduate of the Mexican Upstairs Medical School work on me than someone who graduated from Meharry.  Dr. Murray probably did exactly what he was taught to do at Meharry.  I hope this incident is a nail in the coffin for Meharry.

Living in Nashville does not give you first-hand knowledge of the health professionals that are educated at Meharry.  A Meharry grad my save your sad life someday!!

If this is indeed true, the physician needs to provide a full accounting of what he did to aid Michael Jackson.

He should have recognized a drug overdose when he administered the shot.

Dr. Robert Conrad Murray was just identified as the doctor present. He is licensed in Texas and Colorado.  This is reported by FOX News.

Actually, the physician would have to be an idiot not to recognize a drug overdose.

The question is: was this quantity of Demerol normally administered to Jackson by his doctor? Why such a quantity? Was the reaction something idiosyncratic, that is, something unforeseeable given Jackson's apparent adaptation to that level of Demerol? Or had he been off the Demerol for a while and lost the habituation?

The investigation into Jackson's death by the coroner of LA will ask those questions and many more.

Dr. Robert Conrad Murray is the man reponsible for the lethal dose, that caused Michael Jackson's death.  That makes him either the dummiest Dr. on earth, or a murderer.

 - my theory is  micheal jackson had a rehersal session and the private doctor has admistered him with demerol and overdosed mj - time approx 11.30  my theory that mj suffered a heart attack  shortly l8r then the doctor has panicked and tried to resusatate mj for nearly 45 to 50 minutes, then a member of staff has came and seen what has gone on and then made the 911 call, in the phone call we now mj is on the bed and the doc is performing cpr why is he performing this medical procedure on the bed , my theory he isnt thinking straight becouse  he knows he has give the fatal overdose then he has been trying everything in the book to get mj back even trying in the ambulance - every doctor or health proffesinoal know when to frow in the towl so the doctor has been trying in the ambulance and when they have got to ucla they have  basically said no chance and mj is lifless, so the doc has left to compose himself and get a story straight. then to come back on the scene a few hours l8r composed and confident with a full aliby story. this is my theory karl obrien uk

if the doctor was really concerned and was trying to revive michael why didnt he call  911 the minute micheal collapsed, instead he performed cpr on micheal but why on a bed if he is a medical proffesinoal he should of put him on the floor then performed cpr, the 911 phone call has unfolded the events of jackson death and to me its seems to be leading to  miss conduct of drugs administered by the private doctor that is a resident at the jackson home.

my theory what happened on the 25 june 2009 in seperate numbered events

1: 11:30 overdose of demerol administered

2: shortly after michael suffers sypmtons of the overdose from demerol , a heart attack and collapses onto his bed

3: the doctor tries cpr for aound 40 to 50 minutes to revive micheal, but as michael was on a bed he was un-succesfull

4: a member of staff come into the room and call's 911 and confirms that michael was on the bed and they where pumping but nothing and he wasnt responding

5: the paremedics come and want to call coroner as micheal is lifless but the doctor insists to carry on - even trying whilst on the way to ucla whilst with more qualified & trained proffesional's

6: michael is taking into ucla medical centre and basically by then the doc knows he is gone and there is no chance of revivng michaels heart.

7: doc bolts from ucla hospital possibly to get his story straight and to compose himself

8: after a few hours the doc returns to gladfully speak to police - so why bolt in the first place??

my theory what has happened

Why did this idot Dr. not have narcon, (a med that blocks the affect of narcotics on the body), with him? That would have saved Michael's life. This Dr. needs to lose his license. Being a cardiologist he definately should have known that dose would be fatal!!!! This is why health insurance in America, is outragious!!! Because of a** holes like this one, who doesn't know what the hell's he's doing!!!!

sad and confused

I think that Dr Conrad Murry being a cardiologist did not think that this final injection would have been the fatal one which took Michael Jacksons life because as a live in Doctor this would have been a daily proceedure and had become complacent and did not have the antidote Narcon with him at the time.Sloppy and stupid.I also feel like it could have been assisted suicide but at what price.Michael was a perfectionist and could not be seen to be under par at his gigs in London if he was an ethical Dr he would have known that the drugs were making him weeker. One shall see.

What doesnt make sense to me is why didnt the paramedics administer Naloxone(narcan) because that is standard on most medic units. Im not even sure the doctor bothered to tell the medics what really hyappened; my understanding is the familyis who reported to the doctors about the demorol not mj's private physician.

Oh and thanks a** hole Dr. for taking the biggest Entertainer in the world from his fans, family, and friends. You should burn in hell after rotting in jail for the rest of your life.

Most doctors don't know how to do CPR properly anyway, because it is the nurses who perform it  and are recertified every 1-2 years.

I am a practicing Emergency Medicine physician and your statement couldn't be further from the truth, albeit there still are some physician's that don't perform CPR correctly or effectively (ie radiologists, pathologists).  Despite this, I agree that given the circumstances surrounding MJ's death there appears to be some wrong-doing or malpractice (failure to comply by the physician(s) with accepted standard of care).

This sounds rather strange for a Professional to give a drug and then not see the signs of trouble. It is almost like murder or neglect.

CPR only works about 5% of the time. I have taken the courses for years now.

None of you seem to be able to spell. Isn't it possible that Jackson may have taken other respiratory depressants (other opiates or benzos) that pushed him over the edge when his Demerol shot was administered? Correct the Doc should have had naloxone, especially if he was giving out Demerol shots. But let's not get all emotional and call for lynchings until the facts are straight, please.

Dr. Murray

Of course you do CPR on the bed you idiots. Have you  ever seen a patient in the hospital pulled down on the  floor to do CPR? You do CPR where you find the patient is lying.

8
Mrs. Beasley

Well, "Dr. Murray," if the REAL Dr. Murray got his medical training the same place you did it's no wonder he lost his patient! Obviously neither of you know the first thing about CPR. Hospital beds are very firm and hard - a far cry from the soft mattress and box spring found in a person's home. The first step in performing CPR is to get the patient on a firm surface, or all the pushing in the world on his chest will simply be bouncing him up and down on the mattress, not compressing his heart and circulating his blood. So shut your pie hole and get a clue.

1
MEDDOC2B

Wow………DR? What Medical school in jungle did you attend? You have the audacity to suggest that the beds at the hospital are equal to the firm MATRESS AND BOX SPRINGS……we have at our homes! You do realize that the bed you sleep on is in no way close to the MEDICAL BEDS used by hospitals!

The 911 operator began to give the proper instructions by saying move the patient to the floor!

Please tell us where you practice medicine to allow us the opportunity to save our selves by never visiting your hospital during a medical emergency! What a joke you are! Be carful with the name calling……..DID YOU SAY “IDIOT?”

dr. murray should  face the death penalty for his actions.

Things that make you go "whommmmm"

I think it will all come out that Dr. Conrad Robert Murray knew that he had f----- up! and had overdosed Michael Jackson and when his attempts to revive him did not work he panicked and then came the call to 911 from the staff. Listening to the tape it sounded like the 911 responder was getting too close for comfort with his line of questions so  Dr Conrad told the staff to tell the 911 responder again that an ambulance was needed right away!!!! (And probably told the staff to hang the D--- phone up!) Another "Donda West" and "Anna Nicole" blunder?

Wonder?

Dr West can say goodbye to his license and will probably need to go into hiding because if this is true the fans are going to be oh soooooo angry and upset!!!!
