He also shows how he sought the company of sycophants, and also spoke out prescription drug use. There are about 30 hours of interviews and Shmuley Boteach has written a book based on the tapes. They took place between 2000 and 2001, but taping ended when Jackson was arrested the second time for sexually abusing a child.

About his appearance, Michael says:

"I don't want to be seen now," Jackson confessed. "Because I am like a lizard. It is horrible."

Jackson spoke of what he wanted his life to be like:

"I would like some way to disappear where people don't see me anymore at some point," Jackson said. "I don't want to grow old. I never want to look in the mirror and see that."

Michael also spoke about how he say Hitler as a 'genius' and was convinced that he could have gotten rid of Hitler's evil if he had only been given the chance. He says 'Hitler was a genius orator'. He says that no one is all evil and that you have to try and help people to try and teach them about the good in the world.

Rabbi Boteach wanted to give the public a more accurate image of Michael Jackson, including that of his father.

"He was rough," Jackson says of his father. "The way he would beat you hard, you know, was hard."

Ken Sunshine, a spokesman for the Jackson family, said Friday: "We will not dignify this with a comment."

Michael talks a little about women and especially Madonna, saying they had an intimate phone converstations with her, but he was very shy.

So a spitiual leader left a man who had become a so called close friend in his darkest hours??

I will not be rushing out to purchase this book? Vocalisations of a troubled human being. I was inquistitive. Thats why I'm here. I wanted to see how easy it was to get into the inner sanctum. "Love me". "Hold me as a child""Instruct me as the bible hints at,as I was raised at the temple without the Jehovahs restrictions. Don't deconstruct me for your personal gain".  "Give me some hope and some direction".

Now its a bloody book. Good one Rabbi. For your obviously own monetary connection.

Rabbi, you are doing nothing to dispel the stereotype of Jewish people being money hungry leeches. This is about as low as a human being can go to make money off of a dead "friend."

I didn't take the release of this book to be that of just a way to make money. I for one have always felt that there was something deeper in Michael that made him the way he was. He was so secretive about his life, and the only real conclusion that we could come up with to explain his behavior, was it must be drug use, or just the simple fact he was sitting so high up in his success, it changed him somehow. I have read the books and watched the interviews and my heart aches for him. So sad a life he really had, not ever knowing how it feels to have another human being be intimatley in love with you and all of your short comings. I like what he said when he said "before you judge me, try hard to love me." He gave alot of love, he gave to more charities not for the fame, but from the heart. If you look through some of the many photos on the net now, take a long look at those sad, lost and love starved eyes. I don't believe that he meant that he had any type of respect for Hitler, what I understand is him saying that there is good in even the most evil, and sometimes it only takes one person to tap into it. It does sound like that he believed he had to power to do that, but not that he agreed with him in any way. He spoke of  him being a great orator if he used his voice for good, much like the comment made by the trial judge to Ted Bundy when he sentenced him to death, "it would have been a pleasure to hear you present a case in my courtroom." Nothing more. I sincerely hope that Michael made everything right with his God before he took that last breath, and finds all the peace and love he desperately needed in life. One more thing, I read the book, it helps you to understand him, if you don't shed a few tears when you read it, then you didn't read it with an open mind.
