In an appeal to people everywhere who may have inside knowledge of the banking and investment industry, on his website today Moore asks for their help.

Will You Help Me With My Next Film? ...a request from Michael Moore

Friends,

I am in the middle of shooting my next movie and I am looking for a few brave people who work on Wall Street or in the financial industry to come forward and share with me what they know. Based on those who have already contacted me, I believe there are a number of you who know "the real deal" about the abuses that have been happening. You have information that the American people need to hear. I am humbly asking you for a moment of courage, to be a hero and help me expose the biggest swindle in American history.

All correspondence with me will be kept confidential. Your identity will be protected and you will decide to what extent you wish to participate in telling the greatest crime story ever told.

The important thing here is for you to step up as an American and do your duty of shedding some light on this financial collapse. A few good people have already come forward, which leads me to believe there are many more of you out there who know what's going on. Here's your chance to let your fellow citizens in on the truth.

If you have any info that would help, please contact me at my private email address: bailout@michaelmoore.com.

It was only a matter of time before he made a film about this.

Most of the criticisms from Mr Moore are from Republicans who have never done anything but line their own nests.  I've never heard of a Republican who has pitched in, got his hands dirty mingled with some sweat for the public good.  (General Powell excluded. Think he's a Democrat now anyway lol)

Rush Limbaugh showed his distinct despisal of the common American with his outburst of hoping President Obama will fail.  In these times that almost amounts to traitorous talk and if he could have face charges he would not have dared talk like that.  One Republican said it's madness to hope the president will fail. Some one buy that man a beer.

As for mr Moore, he's a wealthy man and has a reputation for disliking parting with any of that wealth.  He's definitely doesn't reek of benevolent altruism and isn't a philantropist by any stretch of the imagination, but he awakens the public pysche.

If this was his first evr movie he would have trouble coming up with the proffessional volunteers he seeks.  such ios not the case and concerned corporates are and will come forward.  After all, whats to lose.  Very wealthy themselves, they can afford a risk to reputation now because in the future the very people they may unmask will make them very bankable and human commodities.  Erin brockovich is the ultimate example of that.

No matter mr Moores shortcomings, even if they are true, they can't be used as weak pat excuses to keep the truth from the American people.  Especially when it's America at the heart of the financial crisis.  Truly the American people deserve better than to be the scape goats and victims of govt and the wealthy elite.

You noticed no ones saying God is judging the American people like they did with New Orleans!  Would be their death knell.  Though I have heard the Repubs could well see the grave by 2012.  Ron Paul for president.
