Michael Vick has signed on with BET to star in his own reality show, dubbed as a docu-series because of the somber and serious nature of the show.  Unlike VH-1's 'The T.O. Show," which is all about showing how bling and how money Terrell Owens is, the Michael Vick show will focus on his struggles since his release from prison, including his visit to the federal prison in Leavenworth, Kansas, where he spent one and a half years behind bars for his role in financing an illegal underground dog fighting ring.

Will people even want to watch this crap?  Probably not.  While some people think that Michael Vick should not have served any time in a federal prison for his torture of dogs, Vick isn't necessarily a sympathic figure either.  It's hard to root for a man who did such heinous and unconsciousnable things to dogs.

Does Vick deserve a second chance?  Everybody does.  But having your sins repented in front of a TV camera just strikes to me of insincerity.

Nobody will watch because — let’s face it — we don’t want to see “serious and somber” in our reality TV. We want to see pseudo-celebrities do silly things. We want to see the Kardashians go shopping . We want to see Kate humiliate Jon on-camera. (Though that rat deserves it.) We don’t want real reality; we want to escape our own personal too-real reality.

The only reality shows I watch are HouseHunters and The Amazing Race. I would never tune in to see this guy even play football, unless his team is playing the New Orleans Saints.
