Now this is a crazy collaboration that could either be extremely cool or just plain bizarre: acclaimed director Michel Gondry has signed on to direct the Green Hornet movie that will star Judd Apatow-fave Seth Rogen as the titular superhero.

His new "Green Hornet" collaborator is none other than Michel Gondry, the eye-popping auteur who gave us "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," "Be Kind Rewind," and too many classic music videos to list here
