Michelle Obama's new hair do? Or same old Up-Do?

Michelle Obama made headlines back in July when she cut her hair, going from long hair to a medium length hairstyle. There was quite a debate as to whether or not she even had a haircut in the first place. People speculated that she simply lifted her hair with a bobby pin in the back and was sporting an Up-Do.

Now in November, the Michelle Obama did she or didn't she get an haircut topic is about to gain new momentum. Since early November, she has been seen with a visibly short hair style in her speaking arrangements in Colorado and Washington D.C. Her locks has been chopped off in the back and now her hair is even shorter than before.

Today, Michelle Obama was at a press conference (see pic 1, pic 2) in Washingon, D.C. to support her husband's health care reform. All videos and photos of her press conference show that she is sporting an extremely short hair do. In my opinion, I do not believe that she was using bobby pins to lift the hair on the back of her head.

What I find to be most fascinating is that Michelle Obama has ditched her perm to go with a more natural look. It was difficult for me to discern the fine details of her hair, but from the images that I saw from her press conference today, it sure looked like Obama has ditched her perm to go with a more natural look.

I love her new natural look and hope she sticks with it. Her new hair do makes her look powerful, elegant, and proud like a Black Panther from the '60s.

Its called an “Up Do” which is accomplished with a wonderful invention called the “Bobby Pin”. Now despite the fact that First Lady Obama has subsequently been seen with her hair down, people are still pondering whether she cut her hair?
