Mike Comrie, 29, not only makes millions as NHL player but the former Edmonton Oiler is also heir the $500 million furniture chain fortune, The Brick. Hillary Duff of course has made millions as a singer and actress most notably as the character Lizzie McGuire for Disney.

So it should come as no surprise that the New York Post is reporting that the newlyweds signed a pre-nuptial agreement before their marriage at a wedding ceremony in Santa Barbara. The newspaper quotes sources that say it was not an issue and a mere technicality

During their courtship, Comrie spared no expense in showing affection towards his girlfriend. For Duff's 20th birthday, he surprised her with a $100,000 Mercedes G-class SUV. And Duff's engagement ring is worth a reported $1 million.

And it turns out the wedding where Hillary Duff wore a Vera Wang wedding dress is turning into a cash cow for the couple too. Apparently, Hillary Duff, 22, received a $1 million from OK Magazine for exclusive access to the ceremony.
