Miley Cyrus Auditioned for Role of Batgirl in Dark Knight Sequel?

The rumor mill is a abuzz with reports that Miley Cyrus auditioned for the role of Batgirl in the sequel of The Dark Knight. With nothing substantiated it's hard to say whether or not Hannah Montana's alter ego is in the running for the role nonetheless if the role even exists in the script.

Apparently Miley is being considered for the role of Batgirl, starring opposite Christian Bale! Talk about a step up from Hannah Montana! The Globe’s Loosch Lips column broke the news, saying Miley recently “stunned” producers at Warner Brothers in a full batsuit trying to pitch herself.

The insider says, “She was sort of hopping around the room and had even written some dialogue for herself. The problem is, some people aren’t really convinced Miley has the acting chops to pull it of.”

She just recently donned some thigh-high leather boots for a spread in the August issue of Elle magazine but can she pull off a leather body-suit? I say nay.
